We are learning that our ancestors are not just names on a pedigree chart. They are real people who lived, fell in love, had dreams and wondered who they are. Through it all they passed on a legacy. They still live - not just in us but in a different place. They still help us and influence us. In learning of them we learn about ourselves. Only as we know them can we love them. The footprints we discover may be our own!
