Note: Wait! She married Noah Johnson. He was one of 23 people who died ofCholera at Zions Camp. This left her a widow and that is why she ismentioned as a land owner. Yes. This makes sense. She was there inthe home of her father inn 1834 when Grandpa housed all of the ill.This was the story as told in the journal of George A. Smith. She wasborn in 1810 and married about 1833. They were practically newlyweds.Must have had at least one son, however, because there is a pictureof a descendant of Noah Johnson at the dedication of the monument onGrandpa Burket's field near Rush Creek. His name was Don Johnson. Imust get in touch with him. INCREDIBLE. I have record of land ownership in Nauvoo by Catherine "Burkett".1810 is on the card. 977.8 K2L page 98. Mormon Land Ownership Thesis. 1810 is her year of Birth. who was born in 1810 in Ohio. That is it. Have since learned that Sheis on these land ownership documents because her husband, Noah Johnsondied of Cholera at the break up of Zion's Camp.
